As you probably know, PA (State), Pittsburgh (City) and Allegheny County officials have mandated that there be no 50 person gatherings to help “flatten the curve” of the coronavirus outbreak. Allegheny County asked that churches keep helping people but not meet at this time. With that in mind, the leaders of the church have decided we should take a two-week break from all regularly scheduled church events & activities. This break will include all meetings onsite and offsite, including our bible studies. After two weeks, we will re-evaluate the situation.
Though we will miss our time together, we are planning on either live streaming our Wed. night and Sun. morning services on Facebook (7pm on Wed/ 10:30 a.m on Sun) OR pre-recording the worship/teaching and placing on YOUTUBE. Of Course, we know the tremendous importance of fellowship (Acts 2:42, Heb 10:24) but we believe that this is the best decision to interrupt the spread of the virus to keep the community and our church family healthy.
Please feel free to contact us with any questions, feedback or prayer requests.
